BOOK LAUNCH OF MARTIN SILVERSTONE'S "SWEEP"

Most people are probably already aware that the literary world crowds in on Rugby HQ 23 St-PIerre Street next Friday 24th July. Martin Silverstone launches his new book "Sweep."

Signed copies of the novel will be on sale on Friday, July 24 from 8:00  to 10:00 pm at 23 St Pierre in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue. Everyone is welcome to the launch party which promises to be a glittering affair.   The paperback copy is on sale for $14.99  (and there is no tax to pay)

Silverstone explains that "the novel  is a story about a 17-year-old boy's first season of Rugger with the Ste-Anne-de -Bellevue 's Rugby Club. It's a work of fiction but just about everyone will recognize a  character or two. Some of the characters may even be present at the launch."

"The whole book is loosely based on my experiences and observations over the last
35 years - a kind of roman a clef," continues the author. "So, Rugby parents over the years should beware. You may have thought that you knew what your kids  were up to."

The launch will provide light snacks and a cash bar. ALL PROCEEDS FROM  SALES OF THE BOOK  AND THE LAUNCH will be donated to the Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue Rugby Club.
The book  is available by mail order. Please send a cheque for $ 18.00 to 23  Rue St-Pierre,  Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, QC, H9X 1Y5 I look forward to   seeing you there.
